Northeast so rust proofing is a definite for me. I thought about keyless entry seeing as my SR doesn’t come with a key fob as it only has the SX package and not the “SX package with options”. But that is not big deal to me, as a remote starter would be very very nice.

What year Rex? And I was always curious if rally armor made a good mud flap for Tacoma’s. Which did you use? The ones off your wrx and modified them or went and bought universals?

I would have to agree, I don’t want to drop a ton now only to change my mind down the road. I really have my eyes set on the trd pro grill and wheels, side steps, and possibly tint. But I will definitely take your advice into consideration. Thank you.

I will have to start reading through all the forums/posts and make sure I am 100% sure on what I want as I don’t want to change my mind down the road after dropping a ton. Thank you.

I have heard of this virus, I hear it is spread by the mod bug if I’m not mistaken? Haha. A lot of people here have great builds.

2006, single owner. Rally Armor doesn't make a kit for the Tacoma, so I bought the Universal Plus (larger size) and mounted them up. Glad I went with the larger size -- looks proportional.

I did lots of research prior to coughing up $200+ for rubber mats.
Several people online having had both commented that the Huskys were a better buy for a little less money (not much).

The Xact fit that I bought on ebay fit perfectly...and would definitly recommend.
The negative coments on the WeatherTechs was that they get stiff in the cold to remove from the floor.
Some also commented that they're hard to clean because of the porous surface of the rubber.

Obviously details,..but at $200 I want an excellent product,..not very good.

I bought them used for 50$ (front and rear) so I can’t complain :bananadance:. But I highly recommend rubber mats, they’re a great mod especially if you go off-roading

    Second picture with fog lights.

The light pollution from the street lights really take away the quality of the picture but it gives you an idea of how bright the HID’s are.

    My fourth red Tacoma
Last month I bought a 2018 SR with the remote locks. So far I did a quick but not yet complete Fluid Film of the frame. I bought for $57 a used 2013 Lexus delayed windshield wiper control stalk. I have a large black plastic toolbox that I can take in and out really easy. I secure it with the front lower tie downs. I use it like a car trunk. I also got a giant size dog carrier along with tiedown rachets for my two dogs. Today I installed a $26 capacitor type dashcam that so far seems quite nice.

I have a recovery strap and raincoat stored by where the jack is. I have a small medical backpack plus road flares stuffed in one of the bed storage pockets. I have jumper cables and a can of fix a flat in the other bed storage pocket. In the drivers side under the back seat I have the various things I need for my three year old. Behind the drivers side back seat I have a change of clothes, toothbrush/toothpaste, backup winter gloves, hat, thermal coat, hand warmers. I keep my CCW 45 in a tyvex holster in the center console. Behind the front seat I have a black plastic container that I keep toddler stuff in along with work stuff. I will probably reorganize all of this next week.

To do latter will be 35% tint for the sides and back. On the first hot summer day I will peel off that black plastic film that is between the front and back doors. I will probably run a rubber tiedown cord through three or four black plastic milk crates and secure them up against the tailgate for hauling groceries.

My favorite thing to to is make it uniquely yours. I like decals, shiftknobs, homemade tailgate mat to protect your knees, storage pockets and your truck EDC. I even paint my fuel door. While deciding what to do mods-wise. You can do these little things to make it feel like home. This is my truck, there are none like it and that's the way it be. The best way to modify your truck according to me is to use it and when you realize you need something, that's when you get it and a year or 2 from now it will be uniquely yours and it will become your best friend.
