A little worried about my sliders...

    You know for a fact that 90% of builders will recommend a plate! Just cause you got away with it and have been lucky....lemme know when they fail. I'll be waiting!

    The frame fails! Not your welds, they are some nice beads. I'm talking about the frame!

    Its hard to tell from those blurry pictures if your welds are good or not but they look nice from what I can tell. However it doesn't matter how well you weld them to the frame, without scab plates they are almost sure to punch a hole in the frame eventually

    pretty sure im not lucky i just glue stuff together and know how it works its kinda funny this forum isnt what im used to so i have to tone my self down a bit

    btw thanx for the weld compliments that was the first time i was taught to tig at my buddys shop im pretty proud of my self on that one

    Aren't the sliders supposed to protect the body? Hahahaha. Looks like you have fun, great welds for first time tig, I need one.

    na i only use them as pivot points and so my doors still open its only sheet metal if about dents i wouldnt have as much fun as i do

    tube doors suck they bend the hinges and the striker when u hit them and u can never get a real door back on there to save ur life

    plus crunching sheet metal sound way cooler
