Thank goodness your 20k has passed. If you have an extended protection plan I'd suggest finding a more competent dealership.

Last Saturday, I got this good boy...

He's been helping me build my shed. He shed himself the first day so much on the front seat on the way home that I immediately purchased the back seat protector from my wishlist on Amazon that night. Works well and would definitely recommend. Definitely protects the seats and even the doors. Noticed that he gets slightly tangled in the straps that hold up the sides to the oh shit handles.

    He's a Walker Hound mix.

OK... So you've all heard me rant about having to get stuff from the US. So I like to be sure that I am getting exactly what I need/want.

I am going to add light bar(s) to the Taco. Need more illumination for backroads and our long winters. I am looking for throw/distance over fog. We don't get a lot of fog, and when it's foggy, I slow the F**K down and don't want to replace the stock fogs at this point. On MY FJ, I was running Lightforce spots, which gave me super long distance, but I dont want big lights on the Taco.

I am 99% sure that I am going to go with the @CaliRaisedLed product, but I am not 100% certain what I want to go with. I like the look and the construction of their products, and they have been good to deal with. I only want to ship it once, not have to return anything, and get everything that I need the first time. I'd like some group input on the options that I am looking at, given what I need.

First where - I am looking at the either the hidden grill or the bumper light. Long term, I am considering the SSO winch bumper, so a little concerned with the bumper light being covered by the SSO. Anyone using that combination? Will the few inches of height make that much difference in distance?

Then what - single row? Double row? Anyone using these that has some input?

Lastly - need to make sure I have everything I need so that I am not having to order and ship twice. Any recommendations or parts lists of things that I don't want to miss when ordering?

Thanks in advance for the group wisdom!

He'll get used to it over time. You could buy some pipe insulating foam, cut it to length and thread the straps through each of the sections that attach to the grab handles. Makes the straps more rigid and less likely to get tangled up in. The stuff is usually available at your local hardware store in bags of 4' sections. It's cheap, pre-slit but not all the way through and fairly resilient. Also a good idea to use a seatbelt restraint for his saftey in case of an accident of if you have to slam on the breaks to avoid one. A crate secured in the bed is the safest mode of transportation but I know how hard it is to resist having our buddies ride inside with us. Just a thought.

Do you know if there is a way that when you lock your truck it uses the horn instead of the Toyota beep?

Just don’t like the sound. It reminds me of a Camry or the Venza.

I think it's cool that Toyota does that. I always know there is a Toyota around when I hear that beep.
