Shift sense pro and Tranny/ECU TSB

    so just a general factual info needed here-if you have say a shift sense pro tapped on the OBD port and wanting to get a TSB done that the tech needs to connect, do i need to unplug just the OBD port connection; or even the wire connected at the bottom of the shifter console needs to be returned to factory spec as well? ty

    I unplugged mine from the OBD port. Had the TSB done , and then plugged it back in. All's Well

    alright so no need to unplug the SSP at the shifter location correct?

    Nope. Leave it alone. I tucked the SSP plug up so the techs didn't see it. Probably wouldn't matter .
    I drive around most of the time In drive after the TSB was done. When I want a little more power or in the mountains and or towing I use the SSP.

    From someone that has been denied warranty work for completely unrelated mods, remove it before going in. Sure you might get lucky like some people. But that’s an expensive gamble. :)
