In the not-so-distant future I'd like to pick up an old Toyota for fun, what to look for?

As the title says I've been wanting to get up an older Toyota, perhaps a 40 or 60 series Land Cruiser to have as a weekend toy and maybe for a daily a few times a week to and from work. Perhaps in the future it could be an adventure vehicle if I were to do an engine swap in order to have confidence taking it to remote places.

I found this FJ60 in Arizona the other day. The body looks great but I noticed none of the photos include the engine bay. In terms of the physical condition, it seems to be comparable to other listings that are 25k or more, so what is likely the main difference? If I were to go out to take a look at this, what would be the first things I should check into? Any words of caution?
