Could not agree more, an explanation of the different status categories on the leaderboard would be helpful as well.

We're in the process of adding new statuses that give a little more detail. Right now not all of them are accurately updated. But they will be by Monday. Once we have them all finalized I will add descriptions of what each status means to the leaderboard page.

PRO_A731025.jpg PRO_A731051.jpg In anticipation of getting my GFC (at one time was 99 on LB - paid in full last April) I cobbled together a Propex heater. I thought I might share some photos as I know some other dudes had made inquiries about the little heater. The Propex dosen't draw many amps, and it connects to my aux. battery as well. I connect the power by plugging into the Hella plug on the Blue Sea panel. It should not be too hard to remove for the summer (Propex bolted down with "T-Nuts" to Goose Plate). In the summer will use same Hella plug to provide power to NL fridge.

I routed the flex exhaust and intake pipe through holes I made in the little "cubby" and routed the flex pipe opening 3' and 180 degrees away from each other. From a post a while back by Wylie, I don't think GFC will be offering a Propex kit anytime soon, and I don't blame them as it is hard to justify the price and effort.

I get up into the Lamar Valley (YNPS) often as I love to ski tour and bring my spotting scope to look for wolves, etc, so I need some heat (camping at Mammoth or Cooke) as it can get very cold on the northern range.

I realize many dudes use the Little Buddy heater and have great results, I just don't want to share the same O2 with the little heater that I as well breath, and the ever present, though slim risk of CO poisoning.
I won't be running the heater at night, I have a WM down bag that is good to -10 F.

    Drifter....ARRIVED!
This is awesome! Perfect solution for us as we don't want a permanent build in the back of the truck (Drifter is on order). Hope to see this further developed as we are not particularly handy ourselves. The idea of the deck converting to a table is awesome. Would it be strong enough to sit on? Looks like a good platform for dogs to sleep on too. How wide is the long deck? Is it made of seaboard? It's super fun to see all the options people are coming up with for these types of campers!

GoLite? That’s a registered trademark owned by Timberland/VF Corporation.

Ok Patent Police. I think those were just suggestions. Unless you work for Vanity Fair as a Corporate Attroney.

Are you this sophomoric on a regular basis or does this thread just inspire dumb comments?

I didn’t say I was anything, or doing anything.. but if GFC plans on a product called “GoLite” then they should be aware that may cause potential issues given that it is the name of another outdoor products company.

Sorry if that offends you, let’s go back to talking about water leaks.

far as I can tell the "GoLite" platform is homemade by @Flynorth and not associated with GFC in any way, unless they've mentioned it somewhere I'm not seeing.

GFC has nothing to do with GoLite. Separate company and product.

A very very sensitive Corporate Attorney.... :boink: the water leaks haven’t and continue to not bother me one bit. It’s a truck bed after all... long as my sleeping quarters continue to stay high and dry...

I did say. Not sure what your issue is with the patent comment. Just making a point on my end.
But not interested in arguing. Have a wonderful day.

Anyways, truck has been relegated to the backyard for the winter. We'll see how the GFC holds up. I'll brush the snow off every once in a while as it gets a few feet deep.
