Need some advice. I have a 95 4runner 3.0 that is going through a lot of oil. On a 4 hr drive covering roughly 300 miles at 60-70 mph, I consumed close to two qts of oil! No leaking. I would notice that much oil. Also absolutely no black exhaust at all?? Or any discolored exhaust at all. Last year I replaced the timing belt, front main, cam seals, valve cover gaskets. My rear main is leaking a tiny bit. No oil under truck after drive or sitting all night after drive. Is it possible this much oil is being consumed without a trace?? If it’s getting past the rings this bad is it a time bomb? My fam and I drive it for three months out of the year down in Arizona. Everything else runs great and still feels like plenty of power. Any advice would be helpful.

I've done a mod or two
Check your coolant for oil. The 3.0 is famous for blowing head gaskets and mixing fluids

Just drove it another 300 miles. Added two more quarts. Changed oil to 10-40. Drove an hr to store and hr back and was down a full quart! Haven’t had a chance to check compression but everything runs so well. Plenty of power. Absolutely no smoke. Change valve covers last year and probably have 1000 miles on a new pcv valve. I did notice the pcv hose was a little linked so I ordered an oem one that is molded to the sharp angle. Hopefully that is it. This thing is eating oil. If there was that much oil blowing by failed rings wouldn’t there be other symptoms and run shitty at the least? I will start with hose and then take it in for compression. There are a number of things I would like to do to it but don’t want to spend the money if it’s going to die. I had it going 80 on I40 with plenty of power??
