Did the wheels roll, or were they jerking as they caught and lost traction during the slide.
Get some cat litter and put it under the tires that are on the slope. It will help provide traction between the tires and ground. Plus, its cheap.

I've had this exact thing happen to me, just not in my Tacoma. I pulled into a driveway that had snow on it and when I came back outside maybe 1 hr. later my truck was at the bottom of the driveway.

This is an environmental issue, not a Tacoma issue imo.

Pretty simple...nothing wrong with the park pawl I'm betting. Wheels rotated because of the differential. If you could have see the other side of the truck, the wheel would have been turning the opposite direction. As others have said...parking brake. Although, if it has been slushy or wet out and freezes overnight...the parking brake can seize up. A little sand/salt on the driveway where you park isnt a bad idea either.

I have no idea what happened with this guys truck, but we had a bunch of newer ford explorers do the same thing while in park at work. They would roll when in park on an incline or decline. There was some sort of defect in the parking linkage. Just an FYI.
