    Ugh making a trip to the vet this morning... dog got into it with a hog last night (thought I had eradicated all of them around the property but some made their way back).

    Poor girl got a pretty good gash on her leg. After hearing the barking and squealing I ran outside to dispatch said hog and then cleaned up the pupper. Not a whole bunch of bleeding, and no serious damage but you can see tendons and ligaments on the paw / foot area. This morning she's pretty swollen up but I did my best to debride the wound last night, cleaned it out with some wound wash the vet had previously given me, and then wrapped it up with some crinkle gauze and self adherent wrap.

    Do we need to round up the posse and take care of any more hogs? Hope your pup heals quickly.
