Hello TW I want to review these upper control arms to give you my opinion!
First off I was very skeptical of the product because I see just about everyone in here running tubular style UCAs and or the billet icons wich was definitely not in my budget....
So I started to shop around as to wich brand I wanted to go to and I decided on boxed style. Then it came down to wich ones and PRICE! There were three choices ready lift box style uppers icon billet style uppers and then Dirt King fabrication uppers. Dirt King by far had the absolute best price (I did hop in the GB) even if I did not purchase them through there they were still affordable and cheaper than TC UCAs wich are tubular!. Since I have a white truck I was going to go for a little bit of a custom look and wanted to get these in white. So I started to chat with nick@dirtkingfabrication.com and he informed me that they do custom powder coating services!! For 70$ wich was not a bad price at all compared to my local powder coat at 125$ I took them up on the white powder coat. I placed my order and only a week lead time for production and powder coat! I have to say the customer service is top notch I will be purchasing lower control arms most definitely.
Ok so down to the review...
The packaging was very good in a large box and plenty of protection for the UCAs. After I got through the bubble wrap and foam and tape these baby's look amazing and a stout with quality craftsman ship the welds look and feel very good and the powdercoat was amazing! They also privide lube for the uniballs and very easy step by step instructions with a to do install checklist! Very easy to see pictures. And you also get a pretty sweet sticker pack! Very well made product will write more when installed!

I know I'm surprised that not many run these! They are affordable they are solid and can come in heim and bushing style

image.jpg Been a while since I updated been slammed at work anyways the install was pretty straight forward DK gives you very well written instructions and pretty good pictures:D the nylock nut that connects the through bolt to the spindle was pretty tight all the way up afterwords be sure to grease your zerk fittings! Also line the bushing good to prevent any squeaking down the road. After adding some dry lube to the uniballs headed straight to the alignment rack numbers were way off but these made life a little easier to align with the lift not to much though but the ride is phenomenal and my turning radius is so much smoother I'm in love with these I couldn't be happier wth the product service and install I will be ordering lowers as soon as possible

So far so good no issues. Only thing is the white can be a pain to keep clean. They have been awesome no squeaks everything going good! Plus you can’t beat how beefy these look lots of compliments consistently.

Looks like the price on these has gone up quite a bit since you posted. They are definitely more than the TC ones now.

How are you liking the toytec coilovers and shocks? Thinking about going this route over icons.

Pretty good! Only complaint is that since I wrapped my truck the white doesn’t match so I’ll get them re powdercoated to match. No rusting or squeaks whatsoever. When I get them out for powder coat I may just rebuild them since they are out. That’s about it! And I just replaced the 5100s for a newer set that are full length for the lift Drives great! Just want to get the 5165s for the rear!
