hey guys, new here, looking for some advice, I’ve recently purchased a 2018 Tacoma SR5 4x4.
I’m not new to Toyota but am new to the Tacoma.
I’ve been using the search function and have found some good info.
I’m looking to do a lift, I’ve been looking around for a couple of weeks now and there’s so much stuff out there it’s a bit overwhelming, I would love to say that money is not a factor but it kinda is, I’m of the opinion of doing it right the first time instead of trial and error. So, I’m going to ask a few questions and if you feel so inclined to answer I’d much appreciate it.

    1) TRD Vs SR5 is there any suspension geometry difference or it just have better shocks and bigger tires or does the TRD come with some lift.

    2) Spacer lift vs spring/shock/upper arm lift.
This will likely not be a serious off-roading vehicle maybe 2-3 times a year. I don’t want to cut on it at all.

3)if I went with a 3” lift wether a spacer or real suspension lift what size tire can I realistically run?

    4) what are you running for backspacing on aftermarket wheels, most I see are -18mm.

    Thanks for any help.
