oh FJ's are awesome, I admit I didn't like them at first but seeing some well built ones has changed my mind. They're everywhere around these parts especially if you head up to Big Bear. Resale value on those things is even crazier than 1st gen Tacos

Finally hooked up my snorkel too thanks to @Sperrunner donating his air intake duct to me, nice to have it be functional finally lol.

On the drive home I couldn't really tell a difference with the supercharger so I guess that's a good thing, was worried it might be more restrictive but doesn't seem like it

 

Did you ever get the 2 bolts in?

 

I had an 07 that was beat to fuck when I got it, sold it for exactly what I paid for it 6 years and 175,000 miles later lol.

 

not yet, it's in there pretty firmly as-is so it's hard to see where the bolts are supposed to line up, but I'll try again tomorrow

 

And i never reached my goal of getting stuck 4 times. I was half way there

Yup did really good out in the dunes. There was a couple of times when I stopped & waited cause I thought you got stuck bit surprisingly you didn't.

 

I was suprised I didn’t get stuck either lol. I went out there thinking we were gunna spend half the time pulling me out.

Lol maybe, i should see if they have a IG lol

 

Instead it ended up being me.

Sorry guys, looks like my dashcam rolled over the footage starting at 1:56 PM during our convoy out of the park. The two hours I was stuck in traffic took up most of the room.

 

We didn't get back to the trucks till about dark last night, the outer layer of my jacket was starting to freeze up, but the inside was still dry. Paying the extra price for high quality shit is worth it sometimes.

Yesterday was pretty miserable but I'm dumb enough I'll do it again next weekend
