Somewhat related, but I had that happen twice here in the East Bay the last few days. Went to donate a bunch of my girlfriends like-new clothes, and the 2 drop spots said thanks but they were full. I found a local church this morning though that took them in.

You guys are doing some good work here in this thread. It's nice to see

If you have that problem again, I believe bay area rescue mission in Richmond will take all you have.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Just to follow up on yesterdays trip.

I want to thank every single one of you, from the bottom of my heart, for going yesterday. Not only thank you for going, but also thank all of you for the patience and good spirits throughout the day. It was a very dynamic situation, there was some back tracking involved, some diplomacy that need to happen (Red Cross), difficulty finding one of the locations etc... and everyone stayed in truely good spirits with a honest attitude of just wanting to help.

I am extremely proud of the (for lack of a better description) professionalism that was displayed by every single one of you. I look forward to convoying with you again soon... hopefully next time it will be a convoy heading towards dirt, beer, and Shinanigans

Need to hurry the rain starts Tuesday. Might be able to next weekend. I've never built a shed but need a floor and a man door. Has to been on skids too. This way when we are allowed back in we can load it on the car trailer and head for our home. I have a forklift and a small tractor here if needed. And boss is giving me a BBQ. I'll be sure it gets here.

Ya know, SPI needs truck drivers and mill help. They have signs by Spring Garden and west of Chester along 36 so desperate for help. My neighbor quit the county, got on driving a log truck, tons of o/t.

SPI is lso going to get almost all the merchable logs from the paradise and magalia areas. Almost all the wood from the camp fire that burnt in the forest land was SPI or government timber. Tons of work for about the next three years anyway.

Yes w was a timber Faller for 15 years til I got smashed in 2013 now I'm a processor operator and also load log trucks. I got a message from the board of supervisors in Butte country asking me to come fall trees. I guess I will be headed that direction as soon as our company is laid off for winter on the 30th

    She ain't stock anymore.
Just saw on the Oroville Hope Center's Facebook page (our second stop) that they are no longer able to receive any physical donations due to lack of space.
