Just had OME Nitros with 887 coils and Dakar Light Leaf Pack. I haven't noticed any noises or vibrations in the truck yet but worried it will happen. How many of you in Texas have done the install. Can you recommend any shops in the DFW area that would be willing to do it at a reasonable price. Should have had the installer do it while they were putting on the lift. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person so really do not want to do it myself.

I did it because it was an issue. Just remember the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Mines lifted 1.75 and no vibes, very happy about that. I will probably install the bushing soon so there's no weak link.

I’ve never done it might need it done after this lift I put in this weekend.

I’ve done 4 lifts on Tacoma’s but never a needle bearing / bushing replacement

I'd suggest doing it when you install the lift. Much easier when the coilover is out of the way. Pull the driver's side CV and swap the bushing and seal. I have helped or done the bushing swap on 3 trucks, but still have to do mine. I got the install tools and parts, just waiting for warm weather to install.

I think that’s exactly what I’m gonna do. I installed the lift this weekend and the weather beat me up to the point I have no desire to turn a wrench for a bit

I started noticing the vibration after my lift. Especially pronounced on colder mornings. BaerTrax (http://www.baertrax.com) did the lift so I took it back to them. They diagnosed the issue (needle bearings on front driver's side. They had the ECGS bushing in stock and didn't mark up any parts. Out the door for under $300. Problem 100% solved.

Thank you for the suggestion on Tandem. I ended up having the stock needle bearing issue shortly after getting a lift. I called all over DFW and no one seemed to know anything about replacing it with the ECGS bushing.

I found this thread and ended up calling Tandem Automotive as suggested. They knew exactly what I was talking about, had the part in stock and swapped it out in a couple hours for under $250.
