Thanks. I need to schedule shop time, so before Christmas would be ideal, but I understand you probably aren’t doing this 24/7 lol.

I was wondering what shackles to get for the most Articulation the 3.6? Or 4.5?I have a 17 Offroad with Icon aal and Remote Reservoir shocks. Just kinda confused thanks. They look like a great addition to the suspension. Thanks

The stock shackles are fine with stock springs and AAL, or the 3.6".

    Thanks

Got my installed wrapped up yesterday after letting the paint dry overnight.

Overall took me about 5 hours. 4 hours to cut/drill out the rivets and and an hour to install the new hangers and get everything torqued. To remove the rivets I cut underneath the head with a 1/16" thick cut off wheel and then ground it smooth. Centerpunched the rivet and then started drilling. BTW the bits that Eric sends are the super short which is needed here and they are great quality. After 8 rivets they didn't seem to dull at all!

On the bottom mounts I put vice grips on the welded washers as to not break them loose when popping the rivets out after drilling mostly through.

Using stock shackles and Dakar EL096R springs with the AAL I gained about .5" of ride height. At full droop I would need a 29" shock. At the moment I have Icon RXT shocks that have an extended length of 26" so those are definitely my limiting factor.

My GF immediately commented that the ride is stiffer but it lost that "bed bounce" over segmented concrete highways. I only took one drive but so far it feels amazing so far. I still need to readjust my shocks to match up with this but overall very happy on my first impressions

This may have sold me on going with hammer hangers instead of Ericks shackle flip with shackle lift. Knowing I can get a Bilstein b110 27” shock and use all of the stroke with the hammer hangers tells me I will not get any more droop flex with the archive shackle flip over the hh as long as my shocks are the same (presumably). I’m also on standard duty Dakars but without any AAL added. I’m also running superbumps and extended brake lines. I think I may go HH as long as my Dakar and b110 can get full droop without going to a shock relocation.

It seems overall the HH MAY provide better on road handling characteristics over a shackle flip and they’ll handle weight better, even though I do not have a heavy rear end setup and I will never have one.

did you select a winner for the previous batch? Also, I ordered a cross bar. Will it all ship together, or the bar separately?
