Congrats @toysrgood I vote keep the RC and get a car too. I'm searching for a cheap daily myself. As long as my truck makes it to and from TN this week lol.

Thanks! I think that is a good option as well. I like that I come out better with two vehicles than with just the one DC truck.

Now to find a second job somewhere so I can have it paid off before the childrens arrive.

Not a bad setup, but I couldn’t sit still long enough to watch the whole thing. I’m a proponent of always carrying a TQ on your person at all times.

I have two old first aid kit boxes that I picked up from work hanging up on the walls in my workshop that hold misc tools. They aren't for real for first aid, though I could probably find a medically approved use for the hemostats. :rasta:

I have an IFAK that is with me 99.9% of the time. I don't have a trauma kit like this per-say but it's separated similarly and ready to go. A big thing that guy forgot to hark on is training training training. I can't stress that enough. Doing wilderness first aid and trauma classes as well as CERT and regular first aid training will be invaluable if/when the time arises that you have an issue.

If you can find an actual Wlderness First Responder (WFR over WFA) that’s an amazing course to take. I believe it’s 8-10 days but it’ll teach improvised tools for backcountry rescues. I took it and maintained my cert until last year when I accidentally let it lapse. It’s great prep if you spend time in the backcountry or you want some training for if the shit hits the fan/ natural disaster type situations

My wife's iPhone 6 battery failed yesterday (that was the replacement battery too) so we just went ahead and got her an XR. Thing is pretty slick, I said I was gonna keep my 6 a while longer but idk if I want to now lol
