    Haha it’s a FACKIN shovel. Shovels pretty much work no matter what unless it’s a POS. The Krazy Beaver Shovels have powdercoating instead of raw steel, high quality fiberglass, and multiple features such as the ability to disassemble and drain water. Also the serrations are good for roots, ice, hard packed clay, etc. sure constructions workers don’t use them, but some first responders actually do because they’re good at a variety of tasks. But nobody is making you buy one so if a shovel is pissing you off that badly maybe you should retreat into your bedroom and stroke your regular shovel until you feel better. :(

    $7.95 flea market Chinese special. It's dug 2 holes to shit in, and put out 2 camp fires. All 4 jobs went as planned. No one lost an eye. No design failures yet. No one would dare steal it. And if it gets rusty, I'll throw it in the dumpster and get another one. If it does get stolen, I won't even need to call the police. Anyone that hard up needs my blessings, not an FBI "What's the best offroad shovel?" APB roadblock sending them to federal prison.

    Personally, I keep a small garden pick in my truck. It cuts through anything quickly. Ive used it for small tree roots, thick ice, frozen ground, all no problem. The loose stuff, i just use my hands to move out of the way. Youre already going to be dirty, this is so much faster IMO
    Ive used one like this, though it looks like it changed. Im sure you can find a high quality one.

    They aren't great at a variety of tasks. They a good at digging. It's not a multi tool it's a shovel. Again the argument is the cost over everything. I shared the exact same shovel earlier for half the cost. Powdercoating is a moot argument because once you actually use the damn thing the powder coat is going to get stripped off.

    Not double... not $100 (not sure where that number is coming from)... not the same.

    Not to say that the one you posted isn't a quality shovel, but for the minor price gap, I'd rather go with a brand that's tried and true. Plus, they offer real specs (metal gage), warranty, etc. Same reason I buy Nike over Chinese knockoffs... could the quality be the same? Sure. But it could also be much less, as there's not much, if any, review data for the "Super Shovel" brand.

    To each they're own. This debate has already gone much further than it should have, although I'm enjoying it. The real question is, what has the OP decided to go with.

    At the risk of being that guy who asks tangential questions to the thread topic ("what size lift to fit that shovel?")... does anyone know for certain if the Relentless Fab mounting brackets for the bed rails will work under the OEM tonneau cover? I'm planning on putting an axe and a shovel in the bed with quickfists, and relentless fab makes a nice bracket (and I have no interest in making one myself).
