@RelentlessFab Hey man I hope you are still replying to messages on this thread. I ordered a set of three bars for my first gen Double Cab! Its only been a week and it feels like its been months hahaha I'm exited to get them on the truck. But I know making something of quiality takes time. I think its awesome from your part communicating with people on here. It makes getting part from you guys that much better.

I haven't seen many pictures of bars for first gens so I will post some one here after I get them installed. Hopefully you can post those on the website, that way people know what they will look like on a first gen!

    Cheers!

Thanks for the order! We try to be as active on the forums as possible, without taking too much productivity time from building things. ;) We'd like to see pics for sure, we dont seem to see many pictures of the 1st gen cargo bars despite building them rather regularly.

Anyone have any pics of the set of 3 tall relentless bed bars with a basket and the spare tire in it? I'm debating getting the regular height or tall height.

Do these brackets for the bed rail will work with an OEM tonneau cover on a 3rd gen? I plan on putting an axe and shovel on them with quickfists, but want to be able to close the cover. I also have KBVoodoo's hi rise bars taht use the bedrails, so I'm trying to figure out whether to put these on the front rail or if I can situate them along with the crossbars.

I have not tried mounting them with the tonneau so I cannot answer that unfortunately. Also as far as I know the 3rd gen's do not come with a tie-down rail at the front of the bed so you'd need to add one to be able to use the brackets there. They do work on the front if the tie down track is installed, but again I am not sure if they'd sit under the cover or interfere with it.

Perfect, sounds like you'd be good to go then. And as long as you have a couple 4" unused spaces along the tie down rails on the side you could mount them there then.

You can answer now ... The bed rail mounted with an axe and shovel will fit under the 3rd gen oem tonneau cover. As prophesied.

We have for the time being. Lots of skid plate options out there and we needed the time to focus on fab of our bumpers and other more popular parts.
