I don't know...they seem too off to be tweakable which is why I'm wondering if I somehow swapped the bottom pieces and that's why they aren't lining up

Maybe if you tilt the engine forward... I got mine in by bolting up one side first with one or two bolts loose but with the nut threaded on. Then I pounded the other side with a plastic mallet until I got one and then two bolts through.

Where do you get the plates that bolt up to the engine?

You are looking for spare motor mount brackets? What happened to the ones on your truck? You could get them from Camelback if you need some asap or look for part outs in the first gen b/s/t area - just masked sure they're stamped and not the cast parts from 98 and earlier (my 98 cast ones)

Broke mine and fixed them temporarily but I want to build some but can’t find where to buy the bracket that mounts to the holes on the block

Okay thanks. I actually broke mine (welded for a temp fix) and wanted to build some but need a starting point and don’t feel like taking mine off to make a jig.

You broke your perches? DMZ sells beefy new perches but you have to cut out the stock ones

The weight of the motor is holding them at that angle. The motor needs to be lifted slightly, and the frame perch mating plates angled downwards to allow the motor to drop another inch. Then lower the motor and the plates will line up. On some trucks its easy. On others not. Make sure all the bolts are in and started before tigtining anything. Trust me they will fit. You have set #200+

Do you happen to make mounts that will allow a 2.7L Tacoma to have a 3.4L engine swapped into it? From what I've read, the mounts are slightly further back or forward depending on the engine size the trucks came with.

No custom swap mounts at this point, there just isn't enough of a demand for it. I'm not sure how close these would be to lining up with the 2.7 frame perches.

These things are legit! I can definitely feel things I've never felt before though, like when the motor starts, it scared me because I felt such a loud vibration/thumping as it turned over. But then I realized just how solid they were so, awesome! Having the older style cast mounts, I did require a couple of washers as spacers for them, which is no problem, just as an FYI in case anyone else is installing them and wondering what's up.
