    Hello all,

Quick intro since this is first post - Car nut that is currently stuck with an old '83 Rabbit Pickup (94k original miles, 3rd owner, smile bringer) and a lovely little yellow rocket (2000 Audi S4 and yes it's broken ha), but the time has come to get something reliable and new and I'm really itching to make it a 2019 AT 4x4 DCSB Sport w/ Premium package.

The details - Right now, I've gone to one of the local dealers here in the city and talked a little, no credit ran yet or anything but so far the deal is looking like this - Lease (I can afford to buy, but I'd rather put the extra money towards the other cars and savings), 42mo, ~$349 w/ $1k down. Net price is $37,787, MSRP listed as $42,126. No idea on the residual or MF yet.

I've been trying to look up invoice pricing (including in the stickied price page but its only for the 18's) and online I'm seeing anywhere from $35k to $37k. Now I could be mistaken but I believe this is with TTL and the $750 rebate right now, but somehow I feel like I'm missing something, as I'm looking and another local dealer has the truck I want on lot @ $42k, but I haven't talked with them yet.

The salesman I've been working with has been treating me exceptionally well and very patient, and I'd like to support him, but I also don't want to get raked on the deal either. Am I currently sitting at a good deal, or should I start looking at the price more?

I know I've seen people getting the OR's for a little more but I'm not going to be off-roading seriously, so really the Sport w/ Premium package checks all my boxes (plus it makes the SO happy, so there's that win.

Sorry for the long winded post, but I wanted to be as through as possible since I'm popping in from nowhere!

    Thanks everyone and hello!

I'm in WA - but I was able to determine invoice and other prices using the configurator on Costco.com. Did contact the referred dealer - and 5 others. Bought a blue one. Back in the past I remember buying a price report from consumer reports to determine list and invoice. Now days with internet, not sure they even do this.
Costco was free and accurate for invoice/list for every option. There is also a spreadsheet on this site.
For the cost you are citing - you should be getting everything - premium [moonroof and leather] and tech, floormats and sill protectors.

    Cheers

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Careful what you do with that 83 Rabbit pickup -- there are collectors of these little trucks, so it may be worth more than you think. I had a 81 Rabbit yellow 4dr sedan diesel. I ran it for about 80K. Gave it to my son when he was a teen -- he finished it off.

Check kbb.com. When I bought the ‘13 T4R, I built on there site and pick 3 dealers at a time for a quote. This was a Saturday at 11pm. Sunday at around 10am I had an offer from a dealer about an hour away at 5 pm it was my wife’s.
