Front lockers

Not familiar with these guys but my experience with "overlanders" in my area is they like NF roads and the vast majority won't find themselves in a position to need half the shit they tack to their rigs.

 

Well these guys are the real deal and you are right about a lot of people . The reason for the post was to show the op that you dont need to go crazy with 4k dollar suspensions or front lockers to do what he wants to do . Although I'd want a rear since for whatever reason he wanted a sport despite his goal.

 

Something I always point out about NF roads is that BLM and NFS run these roads in stock super duties and silverados. They aren’t built for overlanding and have no issues.

 

Exactly mostly just need to build for expected weight while maintaining ride height and traction ( tires). Maybe a winch if your by yourself. No need to have a sema build.

 

If all i did was ride fire roads I'd be more interested in a go fast build thank a crawler

 

Although, it's not uncommon to have a FS or BLM maintained roads to get washed out. Which is why I would stress getting some (self) recovery gear. I wouldn't value a front locker and rotopax as much as a winch, maxtrax, hilift, etc.

 

Well yeah you have to have recovery gear.
