I ordered some 16X8 SCS Ray10 wheels in matte gray for my 18’ cement double cab OR. I drive this thing daily to work, plus I do a lot of long range shooting. This takes me to some not so easy to reach places. I’m sold on the Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws, but would consider something else. I’ve had a few Jeeps and I have always run Nitto tires. I have had great luck with them. Just wanting to try something new maybe. I will be adding shocks/springs pretty quick as well. Not sure what brand, just something to give me a little lift (1.5”) and handle some more weight. Probably will run 265/75-16 size. Any input is appreciated.

I had the falken at3ws for about 10,000 miles. They where sized the same 265/75 16. I have nothing bad to say about those tires. Handled fantastic everywhere. I took them to the back country of canyonlands with rain/snow/sand etc. I switched them out to 255/85s BFG KM2s and unfortunately the bead was destroyed on the At3w’s when dismounted, not the tires fault. I miss that tire size. Handled great on the long drives with no noticeable increase in road noise. Had an aggressive enough tread pattern to get the job done. I think your right on track with your tire choice and I’m sure there’s gotta be a great Black Friday sale out there somewhere for ya.

A few people who I would consider well-informed recommended Toyo Open Country AT2’s so I went with those. I’ve only put a couple hundred miles on them but I’m happy with them so far. Size I got is 265/70r17

Yes, the Toyo OC is a very popular tire choice in the Jeep community.

I thought about changing my tires out... they only have 650 miles on them, to some KO2 265/75/16's.

Went blind reading threads about them, some people had them rub, others didn't. Only about an inch difference between my current 245/75/16's.

I’m very impressed with my Cooper AT3 4S’s. They’ve been great so far this winter.

Currently trying to pick my next Toyota!
I took a similar path to you. Got 17" trd wheels and looked at the nittos/toyos (almost same tread) and the wildpeaks. I went for the wildpeaks just because of the more agressive tread and look. The nittos/toyos may last longer and might be quieter on the fwy. Pros and cons to each. I went 265/70r17. Good size and looks nice at stock height or with a small lift (1-2"). This tire is also light enough to not rob any performance. Also, I went SL rated for the smoothest ride. No stiff sidewalls for me. I don't haul anything big, just KTMs! You're on a good track.
