Here is the write up I used to install mine. I love my bumper. I have had zero issues with it. The install is easier than it seems, half of it is working up the nerve to make the first cut to your bumper.

I sure will, you just have to wait apparently 3 months...……….I knew they were made to order (backorder) but I didn't see anything about a 3 month wait.....

 

Yeah I waited 11 weeks but worth it

 

I have this same concern so I asked Southern and they stated they had heard of no issues from customers. The bull bar ends just below the area.

 

What are people doing for the front suspension? After having my bumper and winch on for a couple months, my front end needs a little lift.

SSO is top of my list. Sweat looking bumper.

 

Update: I ordered mine Sep 25th and it is scheduled for delivery Nov 23rd! Less than 8 weeks. Woohoooooo. However, probably wont install until spring now since my garage cant close with my truck in it and allow enough room to work and I don't have my winch yet. Really don't want to pull it off to install winch later.
