2019 TRD Sport...no GoPro mount.

First post here and it's to say that I think that the GoPro mount is no longer standard across the lineup. I have a 2019 TRD Sport with no additional packages and there is no mount anywhere along the top of the windshield.

I went back to the Tacoma web site and see that the 2018 still shows the mount under Technology section of the Features page; however, when I click over to the 2019 page, it is gone.

Not a big deal, just curious that I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else.

Got mine on January 7th 2016 and never ever have used mine.

 

Kind of forgot that I even had it.

I use mine 24/7.

But then again, I mounted my dash cam in it.

 

Mounted my Fastrack Transponder to mine

 

Yeah I actually noticed this myself my 2019 off road that I got last week didn’t come with a mount and I knew prior that it did come standard.

So I’m assuming they got rid of jt

 

I use mine every day, but thats because my dash cam is connected to it.

 

Most don’t use it so it’s not a surprise. That said I like it as my blackVue dash cam hangs from the go pro mount so I use it but if it was t there I would have used the blackVue sticker

 

I plan on putting a dash cam on there

 

So, no GoPro mount and no driver's side box cubby for '19. Damn you Toyota!

I actually removed my GoPro mount from my '18 so I could properly install my Rexing V1LG dashcam. Man that was a PITA to do not knowing how they attached it ( they really didn't want it coming off ). Know that I know how they did it, doing it again would be a snap.

 

No big loss there, it took me a year to put it to use as I hate waste. I had to rig engineer a dongle to hang my radar detector off it
