New morimoto headlights don’t look like a bad option, sequential turn signals too... but I hear they’re pricey.

Announcement from Morimoto: “We’re proud to release to you the all-new 2016+ Toyota Tacoma XB LED headlights!

We've always been blown away by the fact that the other brands don't even consider how well their headlights perform on the road at night. Most often, they're a downgrade compared to even the standard halogen setup, and that's a shame.

The good news is that the new XB LED headlights produce a well defined beam pattern with a great amount of width, intensity, and a proper distribution of light.

The new 2016 Tacoma headlights feature:
    Completely plug and play installation
Triple LED projectors (dual low, 1 high)
    ⚡️ Sequential turn signals
    Piano black bezels
    Insanely bright DRLs”

Morimoto filled a niche, kudos to them. A blacked out, performance boosted plug and play headlight. Some people don’t want to deal with the whole retrofit process and Just want a drop in replacement. And bet your bottom dollar you’re gonna pay for that convenience.(Pun intended:p)

Pretty sure these are from Retrofit Source not Morimoto.

For those offroaders who play hard, some beautiful units like these will break at the tabs if you play too hard. I recommend keeping a set of back ups or your OEM's to switch out before your big wheeling trips.

Wish 2nd gens got that sort of love.

https://headlightrevolution.com/ have it for $954.50 out the door with UPS ground shipping. (This is with their additional 20% off Black Friday deal, good through Nov 26). That's a big difference from Morimoto website who's selling it for $1500. Or theretrofitsource(TRS) for $1250 with free matching Morimoto fog lights. TRS has the 25% off as well but it's not applicable because this headlight is on a "pre-order" bases.

There is a couple of concern I have, so I posted my concern on the other thread made by theretrofitsource. (Thread was deleted, Group buy stuff).
Here's the last comment that was made by TRS rep.

    Here's what I said:
"There's no way to change the bulb or anything like that. So if one of the bulbs goes out, I would have to replace the entire headlights? God forbid it happens to go out after the 5-year warranty. Also, there are three projectors when doing the beam alignment, do you have to individually adjust the beam for each of the projectors?"

    TRS Reply:
"They would all be on the same adjustment. And yes there is no way to change the LED unit unless you pulled the lens off and sourced a used one. The nice thing is I would assume each one would have its own driver, so if one goes out, you have 2 others. But a 5-year warranty is still more than most new cars that have LED lights like this even come with."

In conclusion, weighing all of the concerns and now the out the door price is at $954.50 from headlightrevolution (that makes it about a little less than $500 per side), I might end up with it.

    What do you guys think?

One thing is for sure though, I am definitely gonna go with MESOJDM taillight. Just waiting for it to be back in stock.
