    Welcome to TW!

I started with lift, wheels and tires but it all depends on what kind of wheeling you are planning on doing the Tacoma is great off-road vehicle stock so skids and sliders is a good start also!

    I would buy local.
Several people put in an access panel for your oil filter.
SOS Offroad Concepts and @Mobtown Offroad are probably both running sales right now on their stuff. I know SOS is.But I am on the Right Coast..
I am sure there are some companies closer to you that may be as good. I personally have SOS Concepts armor since I can just drive a few hours and save on shipping, and I am happy with what I have purchased from them. Actually just ordered a mid and transfer skid keep underneath my front end safe..

Grab the Mobtown Offroad IFS skid instead. I'm running it and it's pure beef! :D http://mobtownoffroad.com/product/skid-2/ They have a sweet BlackFriday sale going on too.
