    hey guys, so I have a quick question I am incredibly interested in purchasing a prinsu cabrac and I own the 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. The new Pros come with a snorkel, the issue is that they sit way higher than any of the other snorkels on the market for instance the Safari I am curious if the cabrac will fit with the TRD Factory snorkel that came with my truck or what I would have to do to make it fit. here are some pictures so you can see what I'll be working with any advice you can give me or feedback is greatly appreciated thank you.

    Have you chatted with CBI?

    Here is my Cabrac on my third gen;

    It looks like it *should* fit, the snorkel bracket might hold the rack up a bit, the actual intake might hit the side of the rack as well..

    Might be able to attach the snorkel to the cabrack instead of the bracket. Use flat head scews and countersink them on the cross pieces where the snorkel touches them.

    just looking at your posts and the following post with the cabrack. it appears that the intake topper will hit the side plate of the cabrack. it also looks like they share the same mounting point in the channel. Might be able to omit the intake support bracket and bolt it straight to the prinsu side plate with minor drilling and then possibly create or find a new intake mouth.

    Thank you everyone for the advice! Many of your suggestions I have been considering as well. For instance drilling a 2 holes in the cabrac for the mount, and mounting the cabrac on top of the snorkel mount. my biggest concern is how far the cabrac pokes out and if it will shove my snorkel to the side.

    Measure the height from the bottom of the mounting foot to the top of the side structure on the cabrack and then measure the snorkel from the mount to the bottom of the bulge. this should give you a pretty clear idea where/if contact will occur.

    So the issue is I don't want to buy the cabrac if it wont fit I've thought about ditching the TRD snorkel and getting a safari. I've been in contact with prinsu and haven't received a reply yet as to how to get it to work. BUT! I am determined to get this thing to fit.

    Notch the side/front plates of the rack to fit the snorkel cap and maybe need to shift the leading top bar back a few inches. Installed you probably won't notice it, custom.

    Can anyone with a cabrac please do me a solid and measure the height of the rack at the point where it bolts to the roof on the passenger side. You would be doing me a huge solid thanks!

    just some food for thought, by the looks of it the front runner slime line rack fit seems to maybe accept the factory snorkel a bit better than the prinsu

    just something to consider if you are not dead set on the prinsu and changing out the factory snorkel
