Hung the skid plates back up today. All works well. As long as they stay flat, its good to go!

Looks awesome! I am definitely glad I went that route.

I was looking around underneath yesterday and I could see looking across between the pipe and the plate and there was easily a 1/2" and probably more clearance between them.

Hey there, I'm thinking of doing the same thing and just want to make sure I understand your rig correctly. So you rerouted your exhaust to snug up closer to the tcase behind the crossmember, correct? Then you installed the RCI tcase skid (with reroute) and everything fit correctly?

You got it. Just moved the exhaust straight up as close as you can get it to the tcase.

I think Josh mentioned them before, I'll have to drop my skids if I take it to them and that seems like a pain right now lol

Youll have to do that anyway. Just the tranny and case skid though.

Yeah, I think I might wait for now, I plan to be doing a decent bit of work to the truck with my tax return, going to try and do it all at the same time. Will have to drop the front skid to take out my sway bar too

    What hasn't been modified?
When we do the cmc we’ll drop all the skids, pull the sway bar and only reinstall the front one.

Showed your pics to the guys here @johntoyota . They actually have changed how they do it now to gain another 1/2" from your setup.

They think I'm about their 26th Tacoma to come here for a reroute

The people here are super nice. A lot of other shops I've talked to had no idea what a exhaust reroute for a Tacoma was.
