When mine on my 2014 died, it gave no warning what so ever. Just came out of Wal Mart, and it wouldn't even crank. It didn't even click. I tried the electric windows and they were SLOW. I had a few tools so I took out the old one, threw it in a cart, went in and bought a new one. Thank God I wasn't out in the middle of no where!

Indeed! When it happened, my first thought was not how unfortunate it was that my battery crapped out, it was how fortunate I was that it happened where it did!

Too many battery replies to quote everyone. I haven’t seen mentioned yet to take you truck into your FLAPS (Favorite Local Auto Parts Store) and have them test the battery.

I will also put in a plug for NAPA batteries. I have too many vehicles and had to replace three lately this fall. One was from my plow truck, a 94 Mazda B4000. (Ford Ranger) That battery took some abuse, especially in the last three years where it has really only been used for plowing. Electric hydraulics on the plow punishing the battery every time it was used. The battery lasted ten years!

You know what else they say @winkel, no guts-no glory:D!! Just followed Billy’s instructions, didn’t turn out too bad. He explained to me why exactly that gap is there. Gonna use some edge trim in there just like I did with the fender trim. All in all, not bad. I’m happy with the end product.86404E61-C65A-48B6-9A77-D09C6C684BCF.jpg
