Is a 95.5 Tacoma considered a 96 model? Mine was made November 95. Wanting to buy a lift from a buddy but the box says 96-2000 Tacoma.

No it's a 95.5 but front end is the same until 04 suspension wise, rear leafs are shorter from 95.5-97

Good deal. I appreciate it. He has a front spacer lift he’s basically going to give me. So that’d work on it?

Yes, most spacers require longer studs though.

Gotcha. I reckon that’s just something I could purchase from a parts store?

Shouldn't be hard to find them, install is a different story. You will need to disassemble the struts and need a spring compressor to do it.

Ahh. See I had a 05 4runner that I put a 3 inch spacer lift on and all I had to do is mount it on top of my strut tower and bolt it all back together. I though this would be similar. Definitely something I’d have to do professionally cause I have no way of compressing the spring.
