This is a great site and trolled it for a few years and figured it was time to join. My first Tacoma (2001 TRD Limited) is still running great. Gave it to my youngest son and has 300,500 miles on it. So figured why wouldn't I get another one. Picked up a 2018 TRD Pro in August and really like it, but what a different truck! Technology is mind blowing for this Reagan era Veteran. First new vehicle since 2004. Looking for inputs and all the different options for the vehicle.

First thing I did was put a Leer shell on it and remove the stock aluminum steps. Now I'm looking for bolt on rock slides. Tons of advice on the site and trying to avoid Analyst Paralysis with this purchase, but want something quality/solid.

Not a lot you have to do with the TRD Pro get some good tires rockslider if going off road some and personalize it a bit. just get out and enjoy it as it is and along the way you will find what you really need. and Keep in mind where you go off road and go with a group is great first start and just need the basic items like small air compressor and tire pressure gauge for air down of tires when off road along with basic recovery gear and if going Solo know the area and better self recovery gear starts to become a must have then.
