Fabricators and Shops that got started in SO Cal/ San Diego History/Story Time

Im always down for some stories and or the history on almost any subject but the Prerunner/Toyota/Ranger Offroad scene was brought up on the "The Truck Show" Podcast w/ Jerry Zaiden of Camburg and he was telling some cool stories of starting the Street scene in So cal in the early 90's and he mentioned a few others like Downey (obviously their 1 of the 1st)

what where some of the first Fabricators and or Shops out here in SO Cal/SD ?

He Mentioned Downey,Camburgs SHop & a Shop in chula Vista, I think he said All-Pro ?

SD Truck shop would be a good story seeing how James has been in business a long time as well. Not sure if he was the originator of Protrux but they were from the 80's.
