10 years old on Thanksgiving day and still retrieving birds like a young buck.

 

Hate that for ya, it's hard losing a good friend. Lost my bloodhound last month.

Sorry to hear about both of your losses. I dread the day I have to deal with that on my pup. He's 10 months old now, so hopefully he lasts many years for my kids.

Newest addition to my pack came home today! Looking like it will be a while before he can start joining me on trips, needs almost all shots still. Hes a 4 1/2 month old husky rescue. He currently has no name! The rescue named him Sam but that has to change.

Had most of everything already for him but I had to run by the store and grab him a good harness.

Teq doesnt want to stop playing with the new pup and doesnt realize how much bigger he is.

 

First time for him in the snow he loved it.

 

Broke out the rotisserie and he started barking and growling at it spinning.

 

This guy was my co-pilot and the closest things I've had to a best friend. He had a splenectomy and on Tuesday I got news that the mass on his spleen was benign and that he was healthy. I woke up and found him unresponsive on the floor yesterday. This has been the hardest thing I've had to deal with since my dad passed away. Words can not describe how much I miss him. We were supposed to go camping next week after he got his staples removed.

As much as it hurts losing my buddy, it has been nice seeing all of yours.
