Op why don't you have your faceplate scanned and 3-d printed. Save's you the hours of work each one take's. Awesome mod. I'll take one if you start printing them at a big cost reduction.

 

I do have a question I have a 2015 Taco base with the touchscreen non jbl no Sirius no nav radio. How would I go about doing what you have done with my current setup.

where did you get your faceplate or did you make it your self?

 

I made it. I really wanted to make some for others and sell them but I just haven't had the time :/

 

Hey OP I am looking at doing the same thing. I am just wondering what color paint you used to repaint the faceplate to match?

 

It's SEM paint in Satin Black, product #15243 with a couple coats of SEM Low Luster Clear, product #13023. I have 5 of these in production right now...squeezing in what time I can between work, school and homework

 

Perfect thank you! Where do you purchase your paint from? Also do you use body filler or bondo on your face plates?
