It was for sure a trip that gave some experiences...

I am now getting ready to go to Copper Breaks State Park for 5 days mid November, and then turn around and have the HF trip in December.

Planning to bring firewood and a good assortment of tools for the HF trip just in case.

Hope we have a good turnout for the HF trip though! I am getting excited for it! Will be my last wheeling trip of the year, and then maybe a trip in March... if not, I won't be doing much wheeling until Jambo... I will prob have a pretty full schedule from December 1st until June 1st.

Got the x20 10k synthetic for 478 to the door. Best deal I have found so far. May be able to do a little better for the late announced sales but this one was today only so I went for it. :rockband:

Thanks man! I am working tomorrow so will be looking at different sales and such since it should be a rather slow day hopefully. But at the moment, really still wanting to do better suspension on the truck, so I need to do some math and calculate all that up and see.

Thanks for the heads up though!

Not much has gone on with the truck. But I can now add this to the resume I suppose...

I am now an Texas State Park Ambassador through Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Just got back from a 5 day, 4 night camping trip to Copper Breaks State Park that consisted of a lot of training, hiking, mountain biking, more training, and a whole lot more. Myself and 20 other young adults all participated in this and will be representing the Panhandle and North Texas area at different state parks in this region, I will be at Purtis Creek State Park from Dec 1st until June 1st. We all had to apply and interview for this opportunity and with around 85 people that had applied for it in total, I am pretty pumped to have this opportunity to be able to represent the Texas State Park system and be able to give back and see where this may lead.

We had to photoshop two of the people as they had to leave early before we took the group photo, but this is all the ambassadors plus the trainers that where there. All there with a passion for the outdoors and and wanting to represent some awesome State Parks in Texas!

Well I am pretty much done I think as far as Black Friday / Cyber Monday....

    My purchases this year...

NOCO GB40 with Wall Port and Case
Rumpl Blanket and Free Beer Blanket
    OTRATTW Rocker Switches
Bay Area Metal Fab 2nd Gen Shock Relocate from BAMF
King PR2012-SS Rear Shocks from DSM
Set or 4 Remote Reservoir Shock Tie Down Tab from RuffStuff
And another pair of pants from 5.11 Tactical...

Decided to hold off on going ahead and just blowing the entire truck fund at once and getting Kings for the front, so will save up a little bit more to get those at a later date...

Now I will just need to plan a time to get with Nathan at Trail Toys to get the shock relocate done on the truck.

Also looking at changing up the tires on the truck, so will be looking to do those by the first of the year as well.

No I love the Grabbers, but I am going to be doing a lot more road travelling to different State Parks and such starting next year so will be wanting to change up the tire size and such to save a little on fuel.

So am looking at the Cooper ST Maxx for my next tires.

I thought about the Nittos, but they are almost $40 more per tire for the size that I am wanting and heavier than the Coopers.
