yeah I even let me wife's uncle drive my truck up and down the driveway (I never let anyone drive my truck if I can help it...everyone always burns the clutch)...I could pinpoint it coming from the rear/passenger which is about as much as I could confirm from sitting in the driver's seat. Now that I've remembered the bushing sleeve issue which is on the same side, I'm thinking that might be the culprit.

Gonna look into that today/tomorrow and if that doesn't work she's going to the shop lol

Nah I have an OEM one. Didn't even install the new one when I saw that. I bought two of them as well

Im worried the thin part of the strap is going to bend. I have an optima battery too. It was too tall for the strap, granted i wonder if i used a different battery step if it would work fine..but I threw them all out haha

Might be interested. Not sure at this point.

Ah I see. I'm just running the stock battery size. No issue with any part of it being too thin for me. Maybe stick a spacer under the front if you need more height? Heck I can make you an alumn spacer for that too if you don't want to use washers for a spacer.

I kinda like the orange. But I think amber/yellow wouldnt be bad either. Just reading up on some led dash conversions it seems a lot have trouble with them being spotty, not able to dim, or burn out too quick. Plain old incandescent bulbs are tried and true so thats what Ill stick with. Maybe Ill put on some yellow bulb covers when I do it too.

Nah I'm just worried about romping around and slowly bending it loose. Or maybe I'm just paranoid..other otheim sure what you came up with will work. Though I'd have to have spacers on the bottom.

Mine holds the battery stupid well, if the battery can't move e it can't build the momentum to bend it as easily

My zip tie solution seems to work holding my battery in place pretty well, lol. Looks ghetto but hasn't let me down yet, just have to check 'em and replace when needed

Probably cause his battery is a weird size, if your battery is actually supposed to fit the truck these things don't happen
