What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Received my TRD Pro wheel caps today, installed them on dirty wheels and tires, but couldn't wait to get them on there. Love how they look, maybe I'll powder coat my wheels in gloss black to match my new caps.


Also received my seat lifts from @4crawler easy install and perfect height.

I had a hard time installing the sidemarkers as the backing of it was a little too thick so it was pushing against the housing. Making it pop out of place when installing the headlight lens and everything back together. I just used a heat gun and bent back the headlight housing a little to allow room for the sidemarkers to sit in properly. Looks good tho!

What suspension do you have?

 

Used Carista app to change the lane change blinks to 7 and to turn off the drivers seatbelt warning chime.

 

I did the same thing over 10 years ago, except to Tennessee. I think Idaho would be just as amazing!

 

Under the body, the 1 gallon tank from Viair should fit tucked up by the frame I’m thinking. I’m still waiting for it to come in but somewhere. Once it’s in I’m gonna look around and figure that out for sure. Still trying to figure out if I need pressure switch since the arb has one built in and I’m not planning on leaving the tank full while not in use.

I know you both want to mount your tank in the Engine Bay but if you change your mind, I’ve seen someone install the tank under the Driver’s Cubby in the Bed of the Truck. It fits perfectly in between the Side Fender and Frame of the Truck. This is where I plan to mount my 2-3 gallon tank from Viair.

Question, Does the amber DRL switch to white when you hit the turn signal? Wondering if when your amber turn signal is on, your DRL is white? Just curious how it will look.
