    I looked everywhere and couldn't find it on any parts diagram, the thing the wires without a plug are plugged into...

    What is that on? Certainly doesn't look like new wiring that I'd expect in a 3rd gen forum.

    Looks like it might be a CAS? Just a guess, but it's similar to some others I've tinkered with on other marquees.

    Toyota calls them, "CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY".

    Thanks splitbolt. I searched similar terms and could never find a photo that looks like what I have. I think they just don't have photos for that part on many sites yet..

    Those are the cam phaser motors for variable valve timing.
