course! I am aware! Thanks for looking out though. I would never leave Metal on Metal contact like that even for daily driving on road. This was the mock-up, my plan is to add a strap over the top of the jack which is padded at least at the top

Awesome thanks! Will be looking for a red to go in that location. Better for night driving I think.

I'm running the red and love it. Plus the LEDs work with the factory dimmer so you can always lower the intensity too.

Replacing everything worn, broken, and rusted.
New upper cortrol arms. Heard rattling and found this underneath. Ball joint looked like the culprit. Boots cracked both sides. Rust. Bushings eroding.
Thanks to TW thread on the UCAs, Amazon warehouse deal, and a local mechanic who helped when the drivers side bolt, washers and nut was all seized together.
New UCAs on both sides. Time for a beer.

Had a little fun replacing my spiral cable this wknd............managed to bend 2 pins plugging it in the first time and wondered why the horn was honking reconnecting the battery. Before anyone says it always does that when reconnecting battery....it has no alarm. Saw what I had done after trying several times and several different ways of testing connections and such. Looked into new one when I just gave up and put old one back in and there it was, stupid ass, pins bent flat against back of socket. Made a paper clip with tiny hook on end and pulled pins back enough to get in there with tiny screwdriver and line them back up. Then plugged the brown wire in and out to make sure all was good then swapped back to new one and no constant horn blowing in my face under the hood when reconnecting battery. Best part is cc now arms/sets like normal! Now no wheel jerking to turn on and set cc........airbag light or horn wasn't issue before bending pins, just cc hassle.

Pics are a little fuzzy. Quick preview shots of daddy's new shoes. Icon Alphas wrapped with Toyo AT2 LT's. New Stage 4 EBC brake kit and the project Taco will be all set for now until I remove the step ups and throw on the rock sliders, new skid plate, steel fab front and rear bumpers, etc. LOL...it's a labor of love.

Figured out how to pull out the cigarette lighters so I hardwired my little jumpstarter box so I don't have to worry about forgetting to charge it and the plug isn't in the way of the cupholder. Pulled both out to wrap some tape around the clips so they don't rattle.

Had the stealership to replace the safety recall leaf springs. Free alignment. Recently got new tpms. Realized I need to get another tpms for my spare in order to make the light go out.
No charge but they sure would appreciate it if I would let them do some stuff.

My spare is the only tire on my truck that has a tpms. I've been running without my tpms for about a year with no light. The sensors have been sitting in a bowl on my desk in the garage. I haven't seen the light since my spare was low last winter.

I did the same right after he posted the video before he changed it to an Amazon link. Paid a bit extra, but they should be here anytime.

That's unusual. With no working tpms or one working tpms, your light should stay on. Lucky you.
