Hello, wondering if any of you have used the Hensley or prorite hitches with your trailers ?

Looking for some feedback as they are pricey

I haven't. But I would recommend the Reese Strait-Line Trunnion bar system. When you start talking about hitches you hear a lot of really old men (I am actually one of them) spouting a bunch of non-scientific opinions about towing, many of which are wrong. I've personally run the Reese systems for about 15 years with great results. They are sold everywhere, so if you need parts you can always find them easily, and locally. I once had a part fail, and literally drove less than 5 miles in rural Wisconsin to find a replacement. You can get different bars if you are towing trailers of different tongue weights, and you can get additional heads if you are towing the same trailer with a different vehicle. And it does a great job with both the leveling and the anti-sway. I've used it with 4 or 5 different tow vehicles, a sprinter, silverado, tacoma, land cruiser, and yukon XL and it's worked great with all of them. Highly recommended. And about $500. http://www.reeseprod.com/products/weight-distribution/strait-line/xDqAUvNOHeKtsUlhKkqrPpp1KSMoYS1U

I currently have a Reese pro hitch and the sway when passing trucks isn’t fun . I have read a lot on the Hensley and Proprite hitches and they seem to eliminate sway almost completely . I am just looking to see if anyone has used one on a Tacoma so it’s relative .
