Hidden Falls This Weekend

a buddy and I will be there in our Tacos Friday thru Sunday. If you see a ‘12 black sport and a ‘12 white OR (OR stickers removed, though) with a bed topper, stop and say hi!

 

Heading that way in 20 minutes. Weather will be mid 70’s during the day and low 50’s at night. PERFECT Texas camping weather. Y’all come on out! I’ll save you a cold adult beverage.

Y'all run into any issues out there, Triple C is 20min away and I'll be happy to help ya. Also, if you need firewood, I have a plethora, just bring your saw.

Im there every other weekend just not this weekend

 

We got soooooo stuck in the damn mud last night. It looked like it was a couple inches deep but it was a couple FEET deep. It was sitting on the rock rails. We were in the middle of nowhere without a soul around. Thank God for the winch! I hate mud.

What trail? Never seen mud that thick and i went a month ago right after all the rain. Seen all the tiny rivers flow through the whole park

 

I couldn’t tell you what trail. Their map sucks so bad I can hardly ever figure out where I’m at! It was about 5 minutes from primitive camp area B going out the backside of it.
There was about 4-5 trails that had closed sections due to the deep mud. This was one but it had a bypass. The bypass needed a bypass. I winched thru it and came out the other side and went on my merry way.

 

I know what you mean by the map..You outta try Gaia gps they have different setting for maps but heres a SAT view its pretty detailed.

 

I have Gaia and didn’t even think about trying it! I know now for next time.

 

I was out there with a white 4Runner. Saw you, the black taco, and a yellow Jeep go up the trail that we had just come down.

 

I remember y’all! Did y’all go down the rest of that trail? Thanks for the vid, btw.

 

Yea we went down the rest. It wasn't bad at all. Much easier than the part we came down from the Radio tower!
