How many times would it take for someone to suffer a TRED cracking or breaking to just give in and get Maxtrax? :notsure:

Twice. That's my fear with them. They are to ridged.

Once if it were a catastrophic failure. Fortunately mine weren't and still function. With the lifetime warranty I now have six traction boards instead of two. Well worth the money I spent at this point.

Broke another TRED. I submitted a warranty claim so hopefully they send me another new pair. This time it broke almost completely in half and would've screwed you if you needed to use it a second time. Planning to buy some maxtrax now. If they send me a new pair I'll sell them.

I had a pair Maxsa Escaper traction mats that I got for a good deal on Amazon. I used them a few times on sand and snow and they worked fine. I then needed to use them to get my Tacoma and a Land Cruiser unstuck from deep snow in a parking lot and both of them broke. It was probably 30 degrees F at the coldest, probably warmer. After this experience I went out and bought the real thing, Maxtrax, way heavier duty and better build quality, worth the extra money when you're stuck somewhere with no other way out.

Yeah. But not stacked dimensions. At least that I could find they look like the stack pretty close though

Unsure. Either gonna make a canopy for the flatbed, and I will store it up top behind solar panel, behind toold box against the front of the tray, or on the angled sides to keep sun off fridge freezer

Anyone find a hard case that a pair of MAXTRAX will fit inside? I'm looking for something like a big rifle case that's not crazy expensive

I purchased a pair of xbull traction boards before going on beach trip. Used them about 5 times to in bury a friend that was in a 2x4 and they did amazingly. We’ll see how they do if I ever need to bridge with them.

i got "X-Bull" traction boards, had to use them once for vehicle stuck in between tree roots, then used them for 6 vehicles to go across the patch to fill in the gap of the roots made of logs/ sticks and pine needles soil mix. for a $90 product it worked as i would expect a $90 product to work

First review I’ve read where someone has actually used these and likes them. I’ve been looking at them, seem great.

Just wanted to share my first MaxTrax use. It was slick to the point I was having trouble staying up right on my own two feet. The MaxTrax made it too easy getting unstuck. Glad to see there are some quality cheaper alternatives out there though.220BAB32-52A8-4FEE-9201-E1E4AD4D4EA3.jpg
