I’d go with cheapest reputable tire. I’m thinking Maxxis.

As long as it’s not some eBay tire I assume they’re decent, then again eBay tires may be good too, idk myself and finding reviews is hard

I’m interested to see what I get out of the Pros. I got 46K out of the MAXX.

 

Nothing wrong with that. You won’t get the technology with the cheaper tires but that’s bascially it. Making a tire hard for mileage or soft for off-road isn’t hard. Sound management, compounds and Siping for water, new sidewall construction is.

 

What was your tread depth when you pulled them off?

 

Also something to note. Not saying maxxis will have this issue, I have no experience with any of there tires, but a lot of the cheaper tires have a hard time balancing,and staying balanced. Also sometimes they are more prone to chunking out.

 

Not picking any fights but read the reviews and tests on the toyos vs the falkens. The falken are rated much better and can be had for well under 200 a tire

 

I’m getting all my cutting done for the time being. The welding will be quick once it’s up and running. Part is in the mail.

 

Falkens are very nice tires. And the testing facility is right down the road from me. I would’ve considered them if I was going back with an MT. Probably would’ve landed on the coopers just for looks.

The coopers are probably a better tire overall but for the price of them, i mean they were 110 more a tire when i bought my falkens.

 

@baldridge got some sliders in the works for you. Should look even better once my welder is fixed.

 

@whitedlite and for you, mounting plates for your bed bars.

Agreed. Bed bars are utilitarian though.
