If you get some with 650lb springs, if trade you my 700lb springs

 

No another Mobtown guy. Has less than 5k miles on them for $1,200. Already has 700lb springs too. I have until beginning of the year to get the cash together which shouldn't be a problem.

Lol and every website says 600. I just sent them an email. 650 would be better for me I think. Hopefully that's the case.

 

dont think so. DSM has them, I just dont know what ID I would need.. And Im not 100% sure that I actually need them.

Yeah I've heard 600 as well but looking around at a few sites I don't see any coil rate listed, so it's feasible they're 650. Curious as to what they say. Did you email King directly?

 

Oh, I don't mean "special" I just meant that they aren't a stock option so if he upgraded to 700 he wouldn't have them laying around. But now I'm seeing so many conflicting specs

I'm hoping 650 is the case. Don't want to have to preload to Max to get my lift.

 

I have a full bumper, winch, and skid, but since I'm 2wd, I'm missing a good chunk of weight compared to most others so I'm sure 700 would be overkill

 

Kings come with 600# springs from everything I've seen. Fox or Icon come with 650# springs I think. I bought an used set of Kings before I started buying LT stuff, and they had 600# springs if I remember right.

The ID, length, and weight is printed on the springs. Example:

For a 2.5" shock, you need 3 inch ID springs. OE Kings use 14" length springs.

And I thought they were 12" or 13" springs. I've read of people going to a longer coil (14") so that they can use less preload.

 

I understood 13" for the 600 and 14" for the 700. We shall see when mine get delivered.

 

Yeah, everything is available. I'm trying to figure out what comes on the standard configuration. Different places list different info. So we shall see when they get here.

 

King doesn't make 13" springs, so they're either 12" or 14". If you want a 650# springs, it's only available from King in a 14" spring. Eibach makes springs that will work on Kings and other coilovers, so they may have a 12" 650# spring if you want/need that.
