I mean, my truck is paid for. So I could sell it for maybe 20k and buy this and have only a small payment. Hmmmmmmm

This is true! From my conversations with the gentleman it is a very well built truck. I can't say I would blame you it may be just the right time

I wouldn’t use that truck to anywhere near it’s capacity. I would feel bad wasting its potential on the streets in Leesburg. It is nothing short of badass though.

Anyone have any experience driving in Europe? Going to Amsterdam and would like to drive from Schipol to Brugges. Was wondering if it is worth it with parking, fuel, unfamiliar roads etc. seems cheaper than public transportation and a lot of people are telling me to rent but wanted to get some opinions here.

I drove in Bulgaria one thing I can tell you is they style of driving there was totally different. You'll have to get an international driver's license/permit more than likely. At times it was a PITA but at others I liked having the freedom and not needing to rely on public transportation.

I've driven in Switzerland and Scotland. Switzerland was a lot of fun. But everything is pretty much the same as here.

Scotland was a mind fuck because of the right-hand drive/wrong side of the road thing. You get used to that, kind of. But the worst part was the amount of "single track" roads. Miles and miles and miles of single lane roads where apparently the correct protocol is to have an almost head-on collision with everyone you meet, then decide who has to back up the furthest to get to a pull-out. :bikewhoops:

    A thing or two...
The wheel brand us mentioned in the description, but it's kind of lost in the brick of text with no punctuation.

    They're Mamba brand. https://mambawheels.com/current-wheels/m14-black/

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Not so sure... May be the design...

Lol. Also seems that all the rental agencies only have manuals unless you're looking to spend a bunch more.

Yeah, both of the cars we rented were manuals. It was a ton of fun driving that little thing through the Alps. Shifting with your left hand however takes some getting used to.....

Yeah, that has to take some getting used to. The manuals are about 5 times less expensive per day. I was hoping my wife would be the designated driver... oh well. Would be fun to zip around in a 5 speed sh*t box in a foreign country.

I've driven in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and the Netherlands, all on my stateside DL. I love the opportunity to drive over there for the challenge it provides and the chance to rent a manual. I actually just got back from Amsterdam a month ago. I barely drove the car I had because public transportation over there is legit. And it is not that expensive outside of the taxis/ubers. I got a 4 day train metro pass for about $35 and used the shit out of it in the city. The next time I go, I may leave the rental at the airport especially if I am just staying in the city.

Thanks! If I was staying exclusively in the Netherlands, I would use public transit, but I kind of want to explore either the northern French coast, or drive down a bit into Germany. Still on the fence, but doing my research now. I would love the challenge of driving there too haha.
