From TFLTruck, If you do get a Rubicon, just like in the Wrangler, you’ll get the Rock- JP020_104GL.jpg transfer case, good for a 4:1 low-range ratio and hooked up to a 4.10 rear axle. The Rubicon has a total of 11-inches of ground clearance and water fording is rated at 30-inches. New 33-inch Falken Wildpeak Mud-Terrain tires will also be an option on the Rubicon.

I love the idea but IMO it just looks way too long and almost like Jeep used aftermarket parts to put it together. It's missing some design cohesion.

I am curious about how the new Jeep truck and the new Ford Ranger will affect the mid size truck market. Will Toyota ignore these or will they change anything on the Tacoma? Personally I'm not interested in getting one, I think it's kind of ugly.

I like it. I just wouldn't benefit from any of the "Jeep" characteristics (removable everything) so it would just be a waste for me. That and the bed looks shorter than a regular short bed? Or maybe I'm just seeing things.

Nobody knows. We have no portal to the future in this forum yet.
