    The irony here is that my wife was my cornhole partner. There's some phrasing for you. :wink:

    Eye surgeries suck big time. I had a total of 7 by the time I was in the 3rd grade 4 on one 3 on the other. Had to wear eye patches after the surgery for a couple weeks or so after the surgery. I have exotropia so they were correcting the muscles. Couldn't get it 100% perfect. I've had to have metal drilled out of my eyes that I lost count that's always fun since I flinch at eye drops or anything near my eyes.

    I couldn't imagine a retinal detachment. That would really suck and sounds like it would hurt like hell too.

    Afternoon.
    After almost 20 yrs with the same company, I'm putting in for GE aircraft. Looks like there's some type of FAA testing.

    If I'm lucky enough to get my foot in the door, I'll keep my continuity of service but lose my seniority. Good news is I'll be able to transfer to Cincinnati to be closer to where the folks just built a house and also where my buddy and his wife live and work

    WOW that's a big move there bud. Good luck with the job! They have a division of the aircraft engines right here in the RTP. I think it's their engineering though.

    Thanks. Yea, big move. Want to try and get away from this gritty machine work the last 7 or so years till retirement. I took a tour of the aircraft facility back in 2002 when I opted out of doing field work in Iraq. It's a super clean operation. Almost laboratory like conditions.

    Edit: plus being closer to the folks and Gram is a huge plus.

    Also fedex completely disregarded my instructions to leave them at my apartment office after I went through this whole thing to make sure it was ok with them to. Thank goodness I was here on a day off lol

    My FedEx & UPS guys try the apartment first and if there isn't instructions to leave at the door then they go to the office. USPS on the other hand what can I say it's USPS they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

    God, so true.

    I've gotten "delivery notification" from USPS before... *over a year after delivery!*

    Have yall ever had to use UPS Surepost?

    My packages typically follow this pattern with "Surepost"

    Wherever -> Columbia, SC
    Columbia -> Sumter
    "Oops wrong location" (But I live close to Sumter)
    Sumter -> Columbia
    Columbia -> Florence
    Florence -> House

    Adds two days to delivery. I live 10 minutes from Sumter or 40 from Florence.

    Every.Damn.Time.
