I have the RR5-V, set of 5 including matching spare under the truck. When I ordered them they arrived very quickly. No complaints about the wheels other than I'm starting to get tired of the fake beadlock bolt look. I might remove them or paint them black.

Anyone running the RR4-V 17x9? Any issues with 265/70/17 on a 3rd gen?

Nope. Not without mudflaps. Now with mudflaps and an angle on the truck doing a 3 point turn I sometimes do but not under normal driving conditions.

Oh and the rubbing occurred more when I had a -6 offset wheel. With the zero offset of these wheels I have no issues without mudflaps.

I have the rr4-v 17x9. I have them on 265/70/17. I don’t have very aggressive tires. Dueler a/t tires. No rub on full lock. Loving the wheels

a couple of questions. I want to pull the trigger on RR4-V while BF sales are still up. i like the gap on your wells. I just purchased King 2.5 ext for front and back and planning on going with Falken 275/70/17. i see that you are running the 285s. Question: What is the height that you are at on the lift to achieve the gap? Do you think i will rub with the tire and wheel combo - i do not want to do CMC?

With that tire size I don't think you have any issue with rubbing with that suspension. I'm running the ome bp-51 which is about 2 and 1/2 to 3 in lift. Do you plan on running mud flaps in the front?

Come again? o_O You definitely should not need an alignment when you change wheels.

Sorry you're right. You don't NEED an alignment. It's just a suggestion. I do it whenever I get new wheels or tires especially with wheel size changes or tire changes. It helps so that way I can keep my warranties and the companies don't try to say my tires are wearing unevenly due to alignment issues. Also this is considering I have a lifetime alignment on my truck due my suspension upgrades.

Depends on when youre getting tires. if your tires are at the end of their life and you get new wheels/ tires. its highly recommend for an alignment. why spend all that money on tires for them to not be aligned. pay the $60-$90 or whatever it is and do it. Alignments and rotations are VERY important for tire life. i used do alignments twice a year when i commuted. Never had chopped or cupped tired, tires lasted forever. i dont drive anymore so when i install my lift ill have to align it. should be good for awhile.

I went with the RR5-V in Bronze with bolts. @Volksparts i am looking at your tires Wildpeaks P285/70/17. I see these are passenger tires. Have you taken them off-road? how are they on the road - noise, etc?

I take the wildpeaks AT3w's off road all the time at least 20 times a year. Definitely give me ample grip when are down to 19 PSI. I usually get them from discountTiredirect.com free shipping and no tax. On the road they are nice and quiet. I actually like him so much that on my Wrangler I removed the ko2s and went with the wildpeaks.

Thanks man. Painted them as soon as I got them and the paint has held up over several month and mutliple off-road trips.

Finally got them installed. I haven't driven too far but so far so good. The bronze gives it a nice pop.

What did you use to paint them with? Plastidip?
