I have a 2018 Tacoma limited with a hard Tonneau 3 section folding cover on the bed. While driving with one section folded up a gust of wind blew the cover back towards its closed position but it struck the edge of an AC unit l was transporting and not only did it crack the hard cover about two inches it also caused a small hole about the size of the diameter of a pencil. It looks to be constructed of fiberglass. My question is can it be repaired and how or can I replace just the one section or do I have to replace the entire Tonneau cover. Thanks for your advice

I’m sure there’s plenty of creative ways to repair it

I can't really picture your cover. But if it's fiberglass maybe you can take it into a body shop or a boat repair shop to see what they can do. I think for some bodywork repairs, some places/people use bondo. It would probably require sanding and repainting and reapplying clear coat. Not sure how much your cover costs and if it'd be worth it. Good luck!

Can you post a pic of the damage?
The repair could depend on how you care about the looks.
Epoxy, fiberglass repair kit, bondo and paint. Options depend on your creativity and how you want it to look and how much you want to spend.

I have seen a diagram of the 3 piece cover with multiple parts. Check the dealer.
