I agree... I'd rather have the 3.6L than the 3.5 in the 3rd gen. I especially would rather have it than the 4.0L in my second gen. I've towed with both a Grand Cherokee and Tacoma, same load, back to back, it's a 5,000 lb boat. The 8 speed trans and 3.6L makes it just a far superior option to my 2nd gen's 4.0L, that I can say for sure.

If you follow their channel you'll know they're a lifestyle youtuber by living, not automotive journalist and their Jeep does spend a lot of its life on the trails. I don't think her "we" included you ...

There are also companies that sell dongles that you wire in that will keep in permanently off, or you can even clip the wires together yourself. Kind of like the ECT always on solution.

I disagree. This truck completely appeals to the outdoorsy Tacoma crowd. For those of us who just haul bikes/firewood/camping gear and not necessarily towing all the time this truck is perfect.

Good chance I buy one of these on the secondary market in a few years once the kinks have been worked out..

A rubicon 2 door regular cab with a 6' bed, Diesel engine, and 6 speed manual. Boy I would be sorely tempted.

Imagine that bad boy with a 4" lift on 37's!

My fiancé has a lifted TJ on 33's and aside from looking like a Nike hightop ready to fuck shit up, and being fun as hell on trails, it's a terrible vehicle.

The biggest issue is storage, if I take it hunting and shoot a deer, it gets strapped to the hood, leaking bright red gore against the white paint and horrifying all the yuppy eco-pussies that live around here. (Which is 90% of the population)

A regular cab version of the gladiator would solve that issue.

Wait.... what was that? Was that an attempt at an insult, Matt? Well, then, let me just say "ouch!" ;)

I won't bother with addressing your other assumptions but obviously I don't follow their channel (or any YouTube channel for that matter) having other things to do with my life, but thanks for that bit of insight. Seriously. It did help to put things in context.

Right now I have a Wrangler and a Tacoma. The Gladiator has the potential to get me down to only one vehicle in the garage. I sure could use that extra garage space!

All Jeeps eventually get death wobble. It's part of the enjoyment of owning a Jeep.

This Gladiator will look awesome with a 6" lift with 42" IROKS and also a Hellcat engine swap !!
